Three rooms, one grand kitchen

The B&B has a grand kitchen at its centre — the place to meet. There, we serve you a breakfast of your own choice, which you give us the night before. You will encounter other guests, and you may bump into our son preparing himself a little snack; as you know, adolescents are always hungry.

There might also be Bosco, our young Bernese Mountain Dog. He will welcome you with his tail wagging about. He is very gentle, has never been aggressive to anyone, and likes to be caressed. We only ask you not to feed him snacks — to avoid him joining you at breakfast and munching half of it from your plate :)

Room one

The Dog Paw

€ 100 per night

During the renovation of the 200-year-old tiles, we found that some of them carry a print. When the clay tiles were laid out in the sun to dry, a dog, a child or a cat sometimes came along and left a footprint, a hand, or some other marking.

If you choose to stay in The Dog Paw, we challenge you to find the print on one of the tiles on the ceiling.

Room two

The Arch

€ 125 per night

The Arch was opened back up during reconstruction. When we encountered the house, it was bricked up. We knew from the start that we would reopen it, to make the view into our forest accessible. The Arch has its own private bathroom.

If you choose to stay in The Arch, we invite you to identify all the different birds you can hear in the mornings and at dusk.

Room three

The View

The View, with its two reopened tall windows, offers a breathtaking panorama over the majestic Marche, all the way down to the east coast — with the medieval town of Treia as an eyecatcher — and to the Sibylline Mountains further south. On clear days you can see both the Mediterranean and mountain tops of up to 3,000 metres.

If you choose to stay in The View, we invite you to count — and maybe even name — all the cities and mountain tops you can find.
